Hula Classes

Halau Hula ‘o ‘Olili’ula offers  passionate and strong foundation
in hula fundamentals for all levels of dancers. Keiki (Children) Hula is still under planning.
Adult hula classes are currently instructed by Kumu Missouri Smyth and Leimomi Martin.

Keiki Hula - To be Announced
Beginner Hula
An introduction  to the Halau Hula ‘o ‘Olili’ula style and manner for those who have
little or no hula background. This class  focal on the fundamentals  of hula basics,
movements, chanting and physical low impact exercise. All new members of the
Halau Hula ‘o ‘Olili’ula will begin a regardless of past hula experience.
Students will advance to Intermediate upon instructor approval. Enrollment is ongoing.

Hula Intermediate
An intermediate  class that help builds and strengthens foundation of hula fundamental. This class
takes the student’s knowledge of hula and increase, development into more complex motions
dances of hula. Enrollment  is ongoing.

Advanced Hula
An advanced level class geared towards the development of songs and dances
used for public performances. Dancers undergo intense physical endurance training with the possibility
of participating in stage performances. Although this group trains for performances,
